On Monday, public health officials issued an advisory in response to 543 new cases of Covid-19, including 86 cases that were imported. There were no fatalities as a result of the virus.

According to Dr. Chuang Shuk-kwan, director of the Center for Health Protection's communicable disease division, only 75% of the positive rapid antigen test (RAT) results reported last Friday were confirmed in follow-up checks.

75 cases, or 25 percent of the total, were either retested negative or refused to provide specimens for testing on the day of the reporting of those cases.
