Officials in a Chinese border city where new Covid-19 infections are occurring on a regular basis believe the wind blowing in from their secretive neighbour is to blame.

The city of Dandong (population 2.19 million), which has been under lockdown since April 30, has seen an increase in daily cases. Nearly all the Ebola patients in the city who were diagnosed within the last week hadn't left their homes for at least four days prior to their diagnosis, according to the city's Center for Disease Control.
