This morning, children also took part in a peaceful picket in front of the national Parliament.
A mother told the Daily Post that she brought her child to participate in peaceful picketing against the government’s plan to vaccinate Vanuatu’s youth.
She stated that the children are Vanuatu’s future and that they do not want them vaccinated because no one has told them what is in the vaccine.
She claims that the mandatory COVID-19 vaccination has taken away parents’ rights to their children.
The Ministry of Education issued a statement last month stating that students and teachers must be vaccinated before returning to class. Nonetheless, the mother claimed that the government had no right to force the vaccination on her child.
