Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen requested Kuwait to hire further medical professionals from his country, including medical technicians and nurses.

On Tuesday, he remarked while meeting with outgoing Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bangladesh Adel Mohammed A H Hayat at his foreign ministry office in Dhaka.

All through the meeting, Dr. Momen showed gratitude to the Kuwaiti government for delivering vaccines and cures to Bangladeshi emigrants living in  Middle Eastern countries during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bangladesh's Foreign Minister also thanked Kuwait for providing humanitarian assistance to Rohingyas.

Bangladesh and Kuwait have excellent bilateral relations in the areas of trade and commerce, manpower, and energy, according to the foreign minister.

Dr. Momen thanked the Ambassador for his tireless and sincere efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Kuwait and Bangladesh.

The Ambassador expressed hope that closer cooperation will be strengthened even more in the coming days for the collective benefit of the two countries.
