In Albania, 36 new cases of COVID were reported in the last 24hrs, out of 616 tests conducted, and 23 citizens were cured, taking the total cured number to 272,247 from the start of the outbreak.
In the meantime, no deaths have been reported in nearly three weeks. Covid19 has 304 active cases in the country in which COVID3 hospital is currently treating three patients.
Positive cases have been reported in Tirana, Saranda, Mat, Fier, Korça, and Durrs, as well as Rroskovec, Vlora, Delvin, and Kuçov.
The Ministry of Health encourages citizens to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect their own and others’ health. COVID vaccines significantly reduce the risk of infection and aid in the prevention of hospitalizations and deaths. In health centres, any citizen over the age of 12 can be immunised.
