According to the Public Health Ministry, the country had documented 28 more Covid-19 fatalities and 4,563 new cases in the past 24 hours.
As of Tuesday morning, there had been 21 coronavirus-related deaths and 3,955 additional cases confirmed.
On Tuesday, 5,125 Covid-19 patients were released from hospitals after recovering from the coronavirus, while 39,271 others were still being treated (down from 39,861 on the previous day).
There have been 4,455,020 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak began in early 2020, including 2,231,585 this year, for a total of 4,385,702 recoveries.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 30,047 deaths, with 8,349 deaths so far this year.
