A total of 2745 new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in India

India has reported 2,745 new instances of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with 6 deaths. On Wednesday (June 1), the Union Health Ministry recorded 2,236 discharges in the preceding 24 hours, bringing the overall recovery rate to 98.74 percent and the total number of recoveries to 4,26,17,810.

According to data issued today by India's health ministry, the number of active COVID-19 cases has increased to 18,386. As of yesterday, the total number of active cases was 17,883.

The active COVID case has increased by 503 cases in the previous 24 hours. According to the authorities, active cases make up 0.04 percent of all infections. There have been 5,24,636 deaths in the country as of today.

The daily positive rate was 0.60 percent, according to the health ministry.

As of May 31, 85,08,96,606 samples had been tested for COVID-19, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). 4,55,314 of these samples were tested on Tuesday.
