The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Turkey climbed by 864 in the last 24 hours, according to the Turkish Ministry of Health on May 29, and two more deaths were reported.

According to the infographic provided by the ministry, 1,107 persons had recovered in the last twenty-four hours. It also revealed that 129,961 tests had been performed the day before.

Turkey has reportedly administered over 147.7 million vaccinations since commencing a mass immunization program in January 2021, as shown in the infographic.

Over 57.8 million people have received their first dose of the vaccine, with more than 53 million fully inoculated. Over 27.7 million people have received their third dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
