The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) completed over 256,606 COVID-19 tests in the last twenty-four hours, and 572 COVID-19 cases were registered.
The Ministry of Health indicated in a news statement that it aims to continue increasing screening across the country to help early diagnosis and address coronavirus outbreaks. The disease has been documented in 912,086 cases in the United Arab Emirates.
People affected are of various nationalities, are in good health and are receiving proper care, according to the Ministry. The death toll from COVID-19 is now at 2,305, with no new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
According to MoHAP, another 530 persons have entirely recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 895,099 people.
